After studying and implying it in my life, I'm here to share this with you. It takes courage to stand up for yourself. Never apologize for elevating your thoughts, shifting your mindset from negative people and negative situations and outgrow your personality. What is the difference between living and existing? I like to ask this question often in my life coaching group practice sessions (you know the one I'm getting certified for) because many of us go through our days on autopilot - without fully living. And the simple act of thinking about the answer to this question puts you in a state of mindfulness and awareness. We often get so caught up in simply existing - in thinking about how busy we are, emails and messages we have to return, distractions from social media, and the dreams we’re putting off because of fear or uncertainty. That it can be easy to forget to experience life in its purest form and without judgment.
“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.” Surviving through all the good and bad circumstances in life can sure feel overwhelming at times. Here are a few reminders on surviving life that I wish I knew earlier. But then again, we live and we learn, right?
