I'll be honest here, it’s been a rough week. I’ve lost my appetite and shed my weight in tears. I already mentioned in the earlier post that I was working over my limits and having a tough time. Fortunately, it will all be over (my final deadlines and some extremely important errands) by 23rd i.e. the next weekend and I'm hoping to take a long break after that which will surely lift my spirits. In the meantime, I thought I’d share these two delicious sweet-tooth recipes.
So here is a fact - Last night I watched four movies, one after another till 5 am. I woke up at 11 am today morning, feeling luxuriously decadent and woolly-headed. But, strangely happy and satisfied. I have some extremely important deadlines coming up and have never been so stressed before. I was just draining myself with work. So instead, I "broke the rule", set aside the work and gave myself a little break from the mundane. And, it has made me come up with a really good idea for this particular post that I'm writing.
When I look at the typical breakfast food offerings at many restaurants, supermarkets, and food trucks, and I think about the health of many nations around the globe, I want to cry. Muffins, bagels, donuts, pancakes, waffles, French toast sticks… Want some bacon, sausage, or fried potatoes with that, ma’am? Though I'm a vegetarian, this is normally asked in restaurants or brunch places and then I've to awkwardly point out that I'm a vegetarian since birth! Sigh. But you get the gist, right?
