Have you ever wondered about our educational system and why it's so tedious and outdated? I mean, it keeps teaching about the same syllabus it taught our grandparents and the people before them. School is a valuable experience for sure for about the first 5 or so years. Once you learn how to read, write and do basic math, you’ve learned 80% of what you need to go out and create your life on your terms. It’s cliche at this point to say that the most important things you learn in life you don’t learn in school. I know in my life, the most important things I’ve learned I had to figure out on my own as an adult. It might look like high school and college are separated by only a few, short, glorious summer months, but the reality is very different. The two are worlds apart! There are so many valuable things that you learn almost immediately after going through the college gates that it’s remarkable. Obvious things that you would never have even considered back in school.
