I have to be honest.
I feel renewed — renewed energy with a renewed outlook on life!
I see a lot of new followers here, and I extend my warmest hug and welcome! I usually write about spirituality, inspirational writings, some food blogs, and photography here and there and about affirmations and reminders. Oh, and don’t forget to check out my poetry! It is some of my best work. I even teach about blogging and share some great tips. Also, I do the artistry and some doodles. Overall, I am here to “aspire to inspire” you in almost all walks of your life.
To everyone else, …. Well yes….. I know I’ve been absent for a long time, (45 days to be exact), but it has been such a roller coaster ride.
Firstly, I’ve successfully completed my business course (yayyy!) (Remember the one I was struggling with almost an entire year?)
I decided I needed a break to find the calm amidst all the chaos my life was going through.
Lastly, I got my jaw surgery done. If you remember, I posted a blog on it a few months back and yes…. … it is still not completely healed yet. I haven’t shied away before and I won’t now, regarding sharing about my problems.
I love it when people who have been through hell, walk out of the flames carrying buckets of water for those still consumed by the fire. And hence, I hope that my journey through depression, finding meaning in life, the inspiration and the medical illness helps someone find courage and hope and to know that life does get better!
Also, I’ve decided to do a 5-part blog over the next couple of days on the things that kept me going and that which inspired me through juggling a medical emergency, business, family, being a student and to work with my career changes.
And last but not the least, I am extremely thankful for all your emails, messages, and comments through this absenteeism. Made me feel really happy and proud of the family that I’ve created here. Also, made me feel emotional…. like you guys actually remembered me and my writings, how it helped you in various ways and how I have been a part of your life (even through words; virtually)
For now, I’ll leave this poem here for anyone who is in need of that trigger or motivation to take their best foot forward! Uploaded a story about it a few hours ago on my Instagram !
Here is a reminder : Just start somewhere…with whatever you have…your life is waiting for you…
(I know there are grammar mistakes, sentence structural errors, and what not above, but I want it to be personal and straight from the heart)
What if all this time, all this struggle has been leading you to a beautiful chapter in life?
What if you just trust in the timing of the universe and know that this is the moment you’ve been built up for?
What if you take that step forward and it does work out, even if it doesn’t seem like it right now?
What if who I become is who I needed all along?
What if all the hard work leads to amazing things?
What if I replaced negativity with optimism?
What if I looked fear in the eye and gave it a good wink and persisted nevertheless?
What if I just believed in myself?
What if the answer is within me?
Would my thoughts and behavior align me to be the best possible version of myself?
Everything I want is on the other side of consistency.
I believe so.
